If your tenants submit a counter charge, we'll notify you via email. To view the details, log in to your flatfair dashboard and select the relevant property.

You'll then be presented with three options: Accept, Counter or Raise dispute

  1. If you accept the charge, flatfair will update the cost amount and proceed to collect payment from the tenants.
  2. If you counter the charge, the negotiation process continues. You can submit an updated cost amount, as well as, additional evidence.
  3. If you decide to raise a dispute, the tenants' counter charge will be automatically rejected. The negotiation process ends and flatfair will submit the case to our Independent Dispute Resolution provider, where an independent adjudicator will make the final call.
